On Thursday 18th September, Magnet+ were delighted to be joined by adventurer Karen Weekes for an inspiration breakfast briefing in the Clayton Hotel, Dublin Airport.
It was an inspirational morning focused on all things resilience with Karen sharing her story of being the first female to row solo across the Atlantic. She did so by rowing from the Canaries to Barbados in 2022. She spoke about the power of visualization, the mental and physical challenges of the journey and how we can apply the same methods to our daily lives in business, sport and home life.
Karen was a tough act to follow, but our second speaker Magnet+ Sales Director Phil Clapperton continued the resilience theme, speaking about the connectivity solutions that Magnet+ provide, along with our back up broadband solutions which are extremely important for businesses of all sizes.
This was followed by an excellent discussion with Fortinet Country Manager Paul Donegan who spoke about the Fortinet equipment that Magnet+ uses and the extra layers of security that the CPE provides to businesses from firewall to SD-WAN and more.
