Established in 1992 and headquartered in Dundalk, Intact has additional offices in Cork, and Tyrone, as well as Hemel Hempstead and Warrington in England. The business employs approximately 170 people across its office network.
Given the nature of its business, Intact requires 100% reliability from their infrastructure providers – particularly their connectivity partners. A further challenge was posed by the fact that the business moved into an 18th century building with no real access to main stream connectivity services. A search for a suitable connectivity provider led them to Magnet +, who initially provided a 10Mb connection. This has now been upgraded to a 100Mb connection.
