Job Title: Financial Accountant (Specified Purpose Contract)
Reports to: Financial Controller
Location: Dublin 1 Day
- Year end and month end Accounts preparation
- Business performance analysis including monthly, YTD, YOY profitability and actual vs budget variances
- Prepare and review cost of sales and overhead analysis
- Collaborate with IT and our external consultants in progressing the ERP systems upgrade and delivering key milestones.
- Preparing data for migration.
- Work with the test environment of our new system to ensure it meets scoping / business requirements.
- Monitoring the upload of data to the new system to ensure accurate / smooth transition.
- Other Ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Required Qualifications / Expertise:
Specified Purpose Contract up to six months with a possibility of extension.
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 3 years relevant experience.
- Capable of achieving a high level of independent responsibility and personal accountability
- Be able to work on their own initiative
- Experience working as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be analytical with high proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to plan and prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
Hybrid Working – 4 days working from home, x1 day in the office.
