Arklow Medical Practice

Arklow Medical Practice, established over 30 years ago, provides high quality personal and continuing medical care to patients and families in the Wicklow area.

As well as operating as a day-to-day GP surgery, the practice also runs a variety of clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes, and offers a host of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups.

As an ever-growing business, Arklow Medical Practice required a new telephone system to facilitate expansion. The existing phone system was restricted to just two incoming lines and was placed under significant pressure when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. 

The practice required a new expanded voice system that included the ability to accommodate multiple lines, as well as a system that could offer updated information messages to patients while they were on-hold.

Carole Murray, Practice Manager at Arklow Medical Practice, sought advice on telecoms providers from an established nationwide group of Practice Managers that she is a member of and she says that Magnet Networks was the name that kept coming up.
